Testimonials

When my father in law and I decided to get into competitive nitrous drag racing 3 years ago.  We wanted to get in it to win it.  Therefore, I did my homework on finding the right chassis builder.  Having followed drag racing my whole life, I knew the best way to get your car to ET is to have a properly functioning chassis before you ever worry about horsepower.  After a lengthy search and talking to countless people, we decided to have our car built at Metz Performance.  When we 1st talked with Brian, we aligned our expectations, discussed price, and the time interval required to develop and fabricate what we were looking to achieve.  Metz performance exceeded all the parameters and expectations we had with quality beyond what we could have ever hoped for.  Beyond delivering a true work of art,  since the delivery of our car, Metz has always been there to guide our decisions involving upgrades, modifications and any adjustments we need to continue to push our car faster and faster as we find more horsepower.  Brian’s experience and direct approach aligns with the goals we have set inside our racing program and has helped us to achieve more than we ever hoped for to get the most out of the power our engine produces.  Over the course of the last 2 years, our car has picked up from 8’s to 7.90s, 7.80’s, 7.70’s, 7.60’s, and just recently a 7.501 @ 183.95 with a 1.130 60’.  These numbers are impressive to me as our car is 3270 lbs with steel doors!  Safety is also at the forefront of all decisions made within Metz Performance which gives me the peace of mind I need whenever I strap myself into our car.  We go down the track while others struggle and that is what nitrous racing is all about.  I never question a decision he makes with my setup and that is what keeps us loyal.  If you choose a chassis shop other than Metz Performance, you are missing out on maximizing the potential of you program.  I sincerely thank Brian and all of Team Metz for all of their education, professionalism and guidance that has gotten us to where we are today, which is fast, consistent and competitive. I’m thankful to have the “Metz Advantage”!

Since I started working w/ metz per with my stock sus mustang, my racing program has improved in many ways. over a 4yr period we went froma 9sec test & tune all motor car w/ a clutch. to a low 8 sec nitrous small block, clutchless trans equiped car in the stock suspension class called  True Street at the Street Car Brawls. We achieved our goal in 2007 by winning the championship in True Street. Ran a best of 8.12 @169mph with consistant 1.24 sixty foot times.

I am fortunate to have been friends with Brian Metz for many years, so when it was time for the 25.5 update on the Thunderbird, it was an easy choice to pick him. His knowledge and commitment to quality are second to none!

We completely changed our combination in a mere 4 weeks and dominated the competition to win the 2008 Hot Rod Magazine's Pump Gas Drags!

The car dead hooks on Metz' chassis! Tune with 1450 RWHP and 12.5 ET streets!
That is the Metz Advantage.
